Course Summary

Welcome to the EDIT 285 wiki.

 

Distance learning is an important component of higher education and corporate learning. This blended learning course draws upon the particular knowledge and skills acquired in EDIT 226 and 235 or 271. Using both face-to-face (F2F) and online learning environments students have opportunities to apply theoretical constructs for building a successful online learning experience. It provides the basic information needed to be knowledgeable distance educators and instructional developers for distance learning. Distance learning and collaboration technologies integrated in the course include: Blackboard course management system, wikis, blogs, Google Apps, Turnitin.com, Tapped In, and Elluminate.
